The report finds that their parents are heavily influenced by pop culture, social media and celebrities. It is no wonder that they are influenced and inspired by the baby names that celebrities choose when it comes to picking their own baby’s name. Who can forget when Beyonce named her baby Blue Ivy, or when Kanye West named his first child North West.

Such strange names are becoming quite a trend with celebrities, and when it comes to Australian celebrities, TV presenter Sarah Murdoch named her daughter, Aerin, the name of Game of Thrones film character, while model Jessica Hart named her son Glorious. Isla Fisher, wife to Borat, has named one of her daughters, Elula.
